Athlete Kitchen Referral Program Terms

These Referral Program Terms ("Referral Terms") apply to the Athlete Kitchen referral program (the "Program"), which is run by Athlete Kitchen LLC, 5424 Sunol Blvd, Ste 10-406, Pleasanton, CA 94566, USA ("Athlete Kitchen," "we," "us"). Our Waitlist Terms and Privacy Notice also apply.
The three separate rewards
The Program has three separate rewards:
- Part A: Waitlist points (for the referrer). Points only affect your place in line for Waitlist invitations. They have no monetary value.
- Part B: Referral credit (for the referrer). $25 of Athlete Kitchen account credit per qualifying referral, doubled to $50 in race season for Performance System 15 subscribers. You can use it toward future Athlete Kitchen purchases once ordering opens.
- Part C: Welcome discount (for the referred friend). $20 off First Fuel Week, or $25 off the first week of a Training Fuel 10 or Performance System 15 subscription.
Earning one reward does not earn another, except as these Referral Terms say.
Key dates (all Pacific Time)

General rules
1. Who can refer. Any verified Waitlist member or Athlete Kitchen customer who is 18 or older and follows these Referral Terms.
2. Your referral link. You will get a personal referral link and code in your member area. Share it only with people you know personally.
3. How a friend is referred. A friend counts as referred by you only if both of these are true:
- they enter your link or code when they first join the Waitlist;
- they had not joined the Waitlist, and had not bought from Athlete Kitchen, before that.
If your friend arrives through your link, we remember your code for up to 30 days so it applies when they join. A referral must be recorded when your friend joins. We don't add referrals after signup, except to correct a verified error on our side. Each friend can be referred by only one person. If more than one code is used, the one recorded at signup counts.
4. We don't contact your friends. We do not send invitations to your friends for you. You share your own link.
5. Sharing rules. You may not:
- send spam or bulk messages;
- post your link on coupon, deal or rebate websites;
- run paid ads that use the Athlete Kitchen name;
- pretend to be Athlete Kitchen;
- make any false or misleading statement about our food, prices, delivery or benefits;
- make health or performance claims about our meals.
6. Disclose your reward. If you share your link publicly, for example on social media, a blog or a group chat with people you don't know, you must clearly say that you may receive a reward, such as "I get points or credit if you sign up with my link."
7. Who is excluded. These don't earn points or credit:
- Self-referrals. Referring yourself, including through another email address.
- Your household. Referring someone who lives at your address.
- Shared payment. Referring someone who uses the same payment method as you.
- Existing members or customers. Referring someone who was already a Waitlist member or customer.
- Staff. Employees and contractors of Athlete Kitchen or of our food-production and delivery partners, and members of their households, cannot earn referral rewards.
8. Review and fraud. We may review any referral. If we reasonably believe a referral breaks these Referral Terms or is fraudulent, we may deny, hold, remove or reverse the points or credit. We will tell you by email, and you can reply to ask for a review.
Part A: Waitlist points (no monetary value)
A1. Earning points. You earn 10 points for each referred friend who joins the Waitlist with your link and verifies their email by the referral signup deadline. You can earn up to 200 points, which is 20 referred friends.
A2. What points do. Points only affect your place in line for invitations, as described in Waitlist Terms Section 8.
A3. No value. Points:
- have no cash value;
- are not account credit;
- can't be exchanged, transferred, sold or redeemed for anything;
- never become a discount, a price or a founding-member spot.
A4. When points stop. We stop awarding points after the referral signup deadline. We remove points for a referred friend whose entry is removed for breaking the Waitlist Terms. Your points end when your Waitlist entry ends.
Part B: Referral credit ($25, or $50 in race season)
B1. The reward. You earn a $25 Athlete Kitchen account credit for each qualifying referral.
B1a. Race-season double credit. Race season runs from September 1 to November 30, 2026, Pacific Time. The credit for a qualifying referral is doubled to $50 when both of these are true:
- your friend's qualifying purchase is completed during race season; and
- you have an active Performance System 15 subscription on the day the credit is issued.
Otherwise, the credit is $25. The double credit is not available on held credit that is added later under B4.
The friend you refer receives the welcome discount in Part C, not a referral credit.
B2. What counts as a qualifying referral. All of these must be true:
- your friend joined the Waitlist with your link and verified their email by November 3, 2026, 7:00 AM Pacific;
- your friend completed their first paid Athlete Kitchen purchase by November 17, 2026, 11:59 PM Pacific, with payment captured at checkout;
- the order was First Fuel Week or the first paid week of a Training Fuel 10 or Performance System 15 subscription;
- that order was fulfilled, which means delivered or picked up;
- the order was not cancelled, refunded (in whole or in part) or charged back during a review hold of 14 calendar days after fulfillment;
- the referral passed our fraud review.
B3. Invitations and the purchase deadline. Invitations to order follow the Waitlist Terms. Joining with your link does not give your friend priority. Credit is earned only if your friend actually completes a qualifying purchase by the November 17 deadline.
B4. When credit is issued. We add the credit to your Athlete Kitchen customer account within 7 days after the review hold ends, and we email you when we do.
- If you don't have a customer account yet. If you haven't made a purchase by then, we hold the credit and add it when you complete your first paid Athlete Kitchen purchase.
- Holding deadline. We hold credit only until December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM Pacific. Held credit not added by then is forfeited.
B5. How credit is used. Credit is applied automatically to your next Athlete Kitchen invoice or invoices until it is used up. It can be used together with founding-member pricing. Credit is used only for Athlete Kitchen purchases.
B6. Credit is not cash. Referral credit:
- has no cash value;
- can't be withdrawn, refunded as cash, transferred, sold or combined with another person's account;
- is not a gift card.
B7. EXPIRATION. EACH REFERRAL CREDIT EXPIRES 12 MONTHS AFTER THE DATE IT IS ADDED TO YOUR ACCOUNT. Any amount not used by then is forfeited. We will remind you by email at least 30 days before any unused credit expires.
B8. Limit. You can earn up to $500 in referral credit in total, including any race-season double credit. That is 20 qualifying referrals at $25, or 10 at $50.
B9. Refunds, chargebacks and account closure.
- Before the credit is issued. If your friend's qualifying order is cancelled, refunded or charged back before the credit is issued, no credit is earned.
- After the credit is issued. If the referral is later found to be fraudulent or to break these Referral Terms, we may remove any unused portion of that credit.
- Account closure. If you close your Athlete Kitchen account or ask us to delete your information, any unused credit and any held credit are forfeited.
- Subscription cancellation. If you cancel a subscription but keep your account, your unused credit stays available until it expires.
B10. Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to rewards you receive.
Part C: Welcome discount for referred friends
C1. Who gets it. A friend who joined the Waitlist with a referrer's link or code and verified their email by November 3, 2026, 7:00 AM Pacific, and who has never bought from Athlete Kitchen before.
C2. The discount. One of the following, applied automatically to the friend's first paid Athlete Kitchen purchase:
- $20 off First Fuel Week ($99 standard price); or
- $25 off the first week of a Training Fuel 10 or Performance System 15 subscription.
C3. Deadline. The first purchase must be completed by November 17, 2026, 11:59 PM Pacific. After that, the discount is no longer available.
C4. Limits.
- One welcome discount per new customer, household, delivery address and payment method.
- It applies once only, to one purchase, and can't be split.
- It can't be combined with any other promotion, but it can be used together with founding-member pricing.
- It isn't available on Race Week Fuel.
C5. No cash value. The welcome discount has no cash value and can't be transferred, exchanged for cash or credit, or used later. If the purchase is cancelled or refunded, the discount is not reissued, and any refund is limited to the amount actually paid.
C6. Same exclusions. The exclusions and fraud rules in General rules 7 and 8 apply. Getting a welcome discount does not give the friend priority for an invitation to order.
Changes and ending the Program
- Changing or ending. We may change or end the Program at any time. For material changes, we will post updated Referral Terms and email participants at least 7 days before the change takes effect.
- What stays protected. A change will not reduce credit for a referral that already met all qualifying conditions in B2 before the change.
- Automatic end. The Program ends automatically after the dates above unless we announce an extension.
